Puzzle by Ed Fournier
Text by Fender Tucker
We all know the capitals of all of
the 50 United States, right? Sure we
do. In this puzzle for your printer,
you don't need to remember them,
however, you just need to figure out
which capital Ed Fournier is referring
to in his rather cryptic description
of each.
For instance, "Chuck's car weighs
2000 pounds" may sound like a simple
sentence of fact, but if you think
that maybe it means that Charles' car
weighs a ton, you might just come up
with the capital of West Virginia.
Some of the definitions are trickier
than this, and some are more
straightforward. I recommend that you
mark off each capital as you use it so
that your field of remaining choices
is smaller.
This puzzle is not easy but it's
fun. What else would you expect from
a puzzle called CAPITAL "PUN"ISHMENT?
